Creature Caster Vulture Demon Takes Shape & Flies Off To Painters!

Creature Caster have finished the resin master of another one of their beasts and this time the Vulture Demon is going to be flying off their workbench into the arms of a painter so it can get turned into a real finished masterpiece!

A stunning looking piece packed with masses of detail. I love the way they've got the skin layered like that and while it would be quite the challenge to paint I think a master painter would be able to make this look amazing. Bear in mind that this is still the resin master so there might still be a few problems here and there but I think overall they hit the nail on the head here!

Now, start working on some more of my dragons!

Best centerpiece models out there. Still eyeing up that tree spirit/Gaia model, among others. One day soon…

I’m just not impressed. Considering this model is huge, made if resin and meant to be a centre piece, it should be better. Compare it with some if the large centre piece miniatures coming out of Mierce or with Forge World’s primarch models and it looks quite poor quality.

I’m a little disappointed with it’s beak being changed from the concept, I quite like the shut beak with the death stare and condor beak. The wide gaping mouth makes it a little silly like its squawking.

I’ll have to see what I feel when the arrives to me. Photos never do miniatures justice.
