Help Red Box Games Bring New Fantasy Men At Arms To Life

Red Box Games are now on Kickstarter with a new campaign aiming to bring a set of 28mm Fantasy Men At Arms to life for use in your wargames. Designed as a multi-part plastic kit, this should provide you with lots of options for making your rank-and-file human soldiers in games like Frostgrave and beyond.

This set will allow you to make six different Men At Arms and will be developed and manufactured by Wargames Atlantic. The sprue will contain six torsos, six legs and fifteen different head options for you to choose from. Additionally, you'll also get eight right-hand and eight left-hand options plus two-handed weapons, shields, rucksacks and more.

Whilst these miniatures have been designed for 28mm wargaming, they stand a little taller than that at around 32mm (see the scale comparison below). This is because of the more realistic proportions that Red Box Games look to use with their miniatures.

This should allow you to make a great range of different miniatures armed with an assortment of melee and ranged weapons. As mentioned at the start of this piece, these would be great for expanding your Frostgrave warband. You could also use them to start up a warband in games like Rangers Of Shadow Deep! Maybe these could even be the Town Guard that you build for your roleplaying game collection.

This seems like a great set once you've got a few of these sprues in your collection you could even look to use these to build up armies. I've always liked Tre Manor's sculpting style and I was a backer of the Barbaria Kickstarter before this so it's good to see more work being done in his style. Having Wargames Atlantic on board to help with the plastic production is also going to be a big boon.
