Fight Alongside 28mm Napoleonic Veterans In Black Powder
November 20, 2023 by brennon
A couple of sets of Napoleonic miniatures popped up recently from Warlord Games for those looking to showcase those veterans who fought during the Peninsular War. You can get your hands on miniatures for both the British and the French for use in Black Powder and beyond.
O'er The Hills And Far Away - British Peninsular Veterans // Black Powder
Send in the 3rd Battalion Of Detachments, filled with some of the most conniving and sneaky men in the British Army and have a pop at the French! This will give you a good chance to get into a scrap with the equally well-worn Les Bouchers (The Butchers) and have Duchess, the bull terrier mascot of the 3rd go up against the French poodle, Fifi!
Vive L'Empereur - French Peninsular Veterans - Black Powder
Having fought their way out of a Spanish prison hulk, these fellows are ready to get some revenge against the enemies of France. The 73rd Line Regiment became The Butchers as mentioned above and François Léon de Rochebaron is ready to give an English captain or two a bloody nose!
All of the miniatures that you see here are available in Warlord Resin (including the mascots) and you can use them for some fun Peninsular War scraps. Additionally, all of the miniatures from within these sets look to be available individually as well. This means if you're looking to maybe use one or two of these to enhance your army or use them in games like The Silver Bayonet, you should be able to do so!
Will you be picking these recently released sets up?

I love both sets! I don’t need another project but smallish scale Napoleonics with Rebels and Patriots had crossed my mind.
Yes – I am very tempted haha
