Bushido Kick of Wave 22 With a Shape Shifting Demon of Deceit!

The Wave 21 miniatures for Bushido are now all up for pre-order from the online webstore and this means it is now time for GCT Studio to get started on Wave 22, kicking off with Yama Uba of the Cult of Yurei.

Yama Uba is an ancient and horrific demon, capable of stealing the abilities and form of whatever it touches and to vanish at will. This makes it a master of stealth, striking from the darkness with terrifying speed and precision, its sharp talons piercing and slicing through flesh.

GCT have taken this spirit of Japanese folklore and made it even more horrifying. The concept art depicts Yama Uba as a seductive woman right up until her face, which is a blood covered, spiked maw straight out of nightmares. This promises to be an interesting model, and well conveys her nature as a shape changer.
