Hunker Down In New Trench System Terrain From Sarissa Precision
October 17, 2023 by brennon
Sarissa Precision has made a new set of terrain available over on their webstore for those diving into some games packed with trench warfare. If you're playing some World War I games or perhaps A War Transformed, this new Trench System would work rather well!
Trench System // Sarissa Precision
This Trench System comes with eighteen trench lengths, one firing position and a whole bunch of barbed wire to help keep the enemy at bay in no-mans land. There is a good mix of different sections including straights, T-sections, corners, angled corners, entrances and dead ends which are there to make sure the enemy gets confused!

It should give you a good basis for your extended trench works on the tabletop, either left separately or built into the mud and blood of your warming tables. All you'd need to do is get stuck in with the texture paints and a bundle of sandbags and you'll be able to get your defences ready for some World War I-era wargaming.
The set also comes with a bunch of defences and twisted barbed wire which gives your battlefields that iconic World War I look.

Each of the trench sections can also be separated into two halves as well which means that you can do all manner of adaptations should you prefer. I really like the depth to the trench system as well which means that your miniatures are actually going to be protected when they're in them!
Could you be tempted to snap this up and will you be using it for A War Transformed?

puzzling design choice.
I need trenches in my future. I wonder if this shortcut might mean they actually get done
Hopefully the barbed wire will be available separately . I like the linked Czech Hedgehogs
Giving this setup serious consideration for A War Transformed. The setting doesn’t need a fully table of this but perhaps a strongpoint or command centre as a focal point.
