Ride Forth With New Elf Cavalry Plastic Kit For Oathmark Soon

North Star Military Figures previewed a new plastic kit coming for Osprey Games' Oathmark: Battles Of The Lost Age. The Elf Cavalry are going to be riding out to protect your kingdom with some new 28mm scale Fantasy miniatures.
Elf Cavalry // Oathmark: Battles Of The Lost Age
There are no specific details about the Elf Cavalry beyond what you see here currently. They look like they are going to be a solid melee unit, capable of thundering across the battlefield with an eye on smashing apart ranks of infantry and scattering skirmishers. With some of the different elements that you can see here, it also looks like you could make some pretty good characters with the set as well.
More details on the Elf Cavalry will be coming out in the near future but for now, you can start tinkering around with some fun ideas as to where you'd like to take your next army in Oathmark! I am already thinking of some fun ideas surrounding how these miniatures would be used in something Silmarillion-esque!

The most powerful spell in all of Middle Earth… Light.
It is hard to make heads or tails of the minis, especially with the lens flare! What I can make out, I don’t really like – the plume on the horse-helmet is not very good and the elf helmet heads are not very appealing either(but heads can easily be swapped).
Unfortunately, the position of the shot hides the elf bodies behind the shields so I guess we will have to wait for more pictures.
Overall, they seem very useable and with a bit of work very presentable. I am glad we have more choice.
