.@blinky465 I’ve seen Storm of Steel Alex talking a lot about the W&N varnish but not tried it myself yet. My experience of brush on varnish hasn’t been great in the past – I’ve had problems with bubbles – but I’m pretty sure that’s just me not doing it properly.

.@ced1106 that’s a really nice use of the books.

I have several friends who don’t enjoy painting their minis but they do it because they want their army to look decent on the table. That’s how I feel about terrain. I find it tedious to do but I know that good terrain makes the table.

Pledge work for today was deciding that some good models to paint would be a set of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for a friend that I promised a few weeks ago. I got them printed and cleaned up today. I didn’t say anything about painting them up for her but I like the idea of maybe painting them and putting them in a wee display base.
