Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Gameplay

The gameplay shows off fourteen minutes of Lieutenant Titus kicking ass and taking names for The Emperor. As you might have gathered from looking at some of the information out there already, Titus and the Ultramarines have been tasked with aiding the Astra Militarum as they battle against a massive Tyranid threat.

You look to be able to dive right in with familiar mechanics from the first Space Marine game but with a few improvements. You still regenerate health and such by brutalising your enemies but you also have many means of avoiding attacks and delivering hammer blows to the enemy. You can dodge and manoeuvre easily, delivering deadly shots from your pistol to blast the heads off powerful Tyranids. This can cause the lesser Tyranids to wither away, clearing the path for your Battle Brothers.

As we've mentioned in previous looks at the game, you can either dive in as Titus by yourself or play cooperatively with others. There are also PvP and PvE modes to dive into with friends once you're done with the campaign.
