Micro Art Studio Shrink Their WW2 Normandy Terrain To 15mm!

After requests from the community, Micro Art Studio has decided to make their 28mm World War II Normandy Terrain in 15mm as well! If you're playing games like Flames Of War then you'll be pleased to know that a number of pre-painted kits are now available for you to snap up.

As we've mentioned as part of our coverage of their 28mm collection, the range comes pre-painted/pre-coloured and simply needs assembling and it's good to go. You can slot the terrain together rather nicely and have it ready to go on tabletops without much hassle at all.

Six of the sets are available for you to get your hands on right now allowing you to make an urban environment for your clashes during World War II. Fight through villages, towns and more as the Axis or the Allies as they fight over Normandy in a bitter struggle for Europe.

What's great about the terrain is that it's detailed inside and out. As you can see in the image below, there is plenty of space for you to slot in your bases of infantry and take cover inside these buildings.

This makes them a lot of fun to game with. You won't have to attempt to balance your infantry on the roof to signify that they're inside a building! It also means that, as the buildings get damaged, you could always remove levels to simulate their structural integrity.

There are a good mix of larger and smaller houses as part of the range in 15mm and it's neat seeing images here showcasing how the miniatures scale up against them. The walls provide you with some solid cover and I like the height that is offered by some of the different buildings.

The six kits that Micro Art Studio has made available should give you plenty to get started with when it comes to building a battlefield for games like Flames Of War. If these go down well, we could see Micro Art expanding this collection to include more from the Normandy collection including perhaps their farm!
