Magnus & Invictus Smash Their Way Into Warmachine At Gen Con!
July 28, 2023 by brennon
Privateer Press are all prepared for Gen Con and has some awesome Warmachine miniatures coming up for you to snap up. We start with some brutal-looking Mercenaries with Magnus and Invictus getting ready to smash their way into the world of Warmachine.
Magnus The Unstoppable // Warmachine
You'll be able to get your hands on the miniatures for both Magnus The Unstoppable (above) and the frankly amazing-looking Warjack, Invictus (below). In the words of Privateer Press, Magnus has always been a badass and now he's an unstoppable badass.
Invictus // Warmachine
The same goes for Invictus who is armed to the teeth and looks ready to absolutely destroy everything that gets in its way. If you're interested in learning more about these miniatures, the stats for them are previewed on the Blog Post so you can get a feel for how they work on the tabletop.

These miniatures will be available to snap up at Gen Con and you'll also be able to pick them up via the Privateer Press webstore from next Thursday. You won't miss out when it comes to getting your hands on these big lads!
New Warmachine Starter Armies
As well as Magnus and Invictus, Gen Con will also be your chance to get your hands on two new Starter Armies for Warmachine. The first of these is the excellent Dusk House Kallyss, offering up a band of rather angry elf-folk who are eager to get some vengeance.
Dusk House Kallyss Core Starter Army // Warmachine
Inside this set you get...
- Hellyth, Scyir of Nightfall (warcaster)
- Ghast Light Warjack (4x Head 8x Arm/Weapon options)
- Eidolon Heavy Warjack (7x Head 3x Arm/Weapon options)
- Soulless Guardian Unit (5 models)
- Soulless Hunters Unit (5 models)
- Dreadguard Slayer Unit (3 models)
- Seeker Adepts (3 models)
- Seeker Wardens ( 2 models)
- Void Shaper
So, a good selection of the new miniatures offering you a nice starting point for Warmachine with Dusk House Kallyss but also plenty of room to expand. Some of these miniatures have been seen before but others are going to be new morsels for you to tinker with.
The second of the sets is for the Trollbloods of the new edition. This pack comes with the Brineblood Marauders that were previewed a month or so ago. They have cutlasses and more at the ready for doing some raiding down the coasts of Immoren.
Brineblood Marauders Core Starter Army // Warmachine
This set comes with...
- Captain Firequill, warlock
- Reef Troll, light warbeast
- Deepborn Dire Troll, heavy warbeast
- Marauder Crew, unit (x2)
- Pyg Boarding Party, unit
- Galley Crew, unit
- Bosun, command attachment
- Quartermaster, command attachment
- Surgeon, solo
Lots of great miniatures for you to have some fun with and take your hobby in a different direction. The Trollbloods have always been a favourite of mine for Warmachine and I really like the redesign that they have had here, focusing on this idea of pirates and the oceans. I sense that they are going to be a favourite of a lot of folks at Gen Con.
A small number of these are going to be available at Gen Con so if you're looking to snap them up, you'll want to visit Privateer Press sooner rather than later. If you'd like to know more about what Privateer Press have planned, you can find out all the information HERE.
Will you be picking up some new Warmachine miniatures over the Gen Con period?

Love the warmachine.
Now, THIS ‘Jack has a great look. A lot of PP’s new stuff hasn’t tripped my trigger, but this one’s working for me.
It’s got great detail, but stops right before it hits “busy,” and it’s got a great “worn, but cared-for” look with its mis-matched armor plating.
The only thing that’s iffy is the Obliterator on its shoulder; without seeing it from another angle, it just looks kinda “plopped on.”
Might snag it…now, BRING ON THE DWARVES!
Plus, Magnus wielding an RPG? :chef’s kiss:
Rhulic forces ftw!
