Hear! Hear! I hereby challenge  @brennon  to a terrain challenge. Mr. Shaw stated in the OTT XLBS on 23.07.2023 that he only has one painted tree! Unheard of! And instead of pushing it to Scenery September we will do it in August! So from 01.08.2023 – 31.08.2023 I will be doing terrain. And I hope Mr. Shaw will find it in himself to answer the call! THE BEACONS ARE LIT! And the audience will judge who won!

    WHO IS WITH ME?

You’re a good sport Sir. One week for preparation and then it’s off to the races!

What Lloyd means is we’re not doing the proper terrain challenge in September it will be too busy. Will get back to people with a proper date in the future.

@brennon dost though have a champion thingumygig just in case you are busy in August?

i hearby throw my hat in the ring if you havent as thy champion……..(music playing in my head)

this pretender @sundancer to thy Beardy magnificence needs a spanking (which i guess he’d love) and fresh from my  golden button accolade this weekend i am all fired up, hobby mojo afire. My choice of weapon Battletech but that is just a teaser……. frankly he can do what he wants but i plan something epic……………..

If I fall at the first badly painted tree, I shall have you in mind wolf!

I have made my North Star terrain order so we shall see when they arrive and I will get cracking 😉 Might need to buy a doormat or two as well…

fwiw, For generic fantasy, the Elven Woods (trees and rocks) have had the most use, followed by Land of Giants (ruins). I supposed Land of Giants would also be good for sf gaming? Of course, you can always cheat with Battle System’s cardstock terrain (and Loke Battlemats maps)!

Map by Loke Battle Mats, Wilderness Map book.
Trees and rock by Archon. Elven Woods set.
Village terrain by Battle Systems. Village set.
Scarecrows are “Tiny Furniture’s Harvest of War” miniatures. Sequel campaign coming!
    Miniatures by Reaper.
