Reiner Knizia is at it again with another board game coming out later this year called Sunrise Lane. This new board game is published by Horrible Guild and will see you constructing a block of houses for local residents.

The game already features beautiful artwork by Francesco de Benedittis which is immediately drawing me in! There are a few details on the game itself as well as a peek at the back of the box which shows off some of the components from within Sunrise Lane. You'll be taking on the role of a construction company that will be picking plots of land and using them to build houses and town structures.

Players will be able to do this by matching coloured building cards with the different plots of land on the board. The more you build, the more points you'll make. Collecting cards of the same colour also means that you can build multi-story buildings and double down on your chosen plots. The person with the most points by the end of the game is the winner!

With an age rating of eight-plus, this seems like a perfect family game to break out. The gameplay loop seems simple enough for folks to grasp, especially as it's summed up on the back of the box! Having those additional end-game bonus points on offer should mean there is lots of friendly competition to try and come out on top.

Could you be tempted by Sunrise Lane?
