Para Bellum Wargames have got some awesome new miniatures to pre-order for Conquest: The Last Argument Of Kings and First Blood. We start with the Hundred Kingdoms who get themselves a wonderful 35mm Founder's Exclusive diorama with St George And The Dragon.

This myth from the Hundred Kingdoms brings forth the valiant St George going up against one of the monstrous dragons from the depths of time. Not only does this build on the myths of our own world but also brings more depth to the Hundred Kingdoms with the Pomer Princes and the Russ.

Stavros Halkias brought this diorama to life and as you've gathered, this is going to be a very limited release. There are going to be 750 pieces available from Para Bellum and it will come in its own collector's box. The miniature will also be available on a removable stand so that you can take it off the base if you like. This really is an impressive 35mm resin miniature and one that a lot of Conquest lovers could be very tempted by I reckon!

New Nords Miniatures

As well as the brand new miniature for St George & The Dragon, there are also some new miniatures for those playing as the Nords battling through the snow and ice in the North. Leading the way is the new Thegn.

Nords Thegn // Conquest

Experts in fighting in the shield wall, these Thegns can coordinate your defences and make sure that a regiment is able to hold its ground. There is a distinctly fancier look to the miniature here which reminds me of the Vikings from history that travelled to sunnier locations like the Middle East. I certainly get that vibe from the way the armour looks.

As well as the Thegn, you can also call on some specialist units with another Dual Kit that gives you options to build the new Ulfhednar and the Bearsarks.

Nords Ulfhednar // Conquest

This is another plastic set from Para Bellum for the Nords that gives you some brutal frontline fighters. The Ulfhednar wear those fearsome skull masks and embrace that deadly berserker spirit of their kin. With the Ulfhednar you have a whirlwind of blades surging towards the enemy but make sure to keep them safe from incoming missile fire.

You can also use this plastic kit to build the Bearsarks.

Nords Bearsarks // Conquest

This is a new, elite and heavy regiment for use in Conquest that can cleave its way through enemies with ease. If you're looking to make short work of the toughest armoured individuals in your enemy's army then this is who you bring to the battlefield. You could imagine these fellows forming up into a wedge and smashing through a shieldwall.

I absolutely love this unit and it's another threat to my wallet when it comes to diving into Conquest. I really like these Bearsarks and the Raiders that the Nords have access to and it would be fun to get working on a Fantasy army like this.
