Games Workshop have been previewing more of the Cities Of Sigmar miniatures that are coming out soon for Warhammer Age Of Sigmar. We've seen a lot of the rank and file that you can get from the Launch Box but there are also plenty of folks armed with firearms, ready to protect cities across the realms.

Hunkered down behind their hefty, hardwood pavises, these Fusiliers are prepared to bring down all manner of foes. Under the command of a Fusil-sergeant, these Fusiliers can bring down Ogors, Orruks and everything else in between whilst hopefully being able to hold the line.

Their guns can tear through the flesh and armour of mortal foes but for those more magical in nature, that's where the blessed shot and sigil-wrought ammo comes in. Fusiliers are also able to deal with wraiths, demons and more that they might encounter in The Mortal Realms. Whilst most of these soldiers carry those regular guns, there are others with multi-barrel contraptions and even pistols.

I really like how grimdark and Oldworldy these miniatures are. There's something distinctly The Mortal Realms about them but with a lot of inspiration coming from the Old World at the same time too. There's even an errant little Mordheim-esque fish running around on the base of one of the miniatures which is a glorious little callback.

As well as the regular Fusiliers, you also need to make good use of your Blackpowder Squires. These fellows run up and down the line handing out shot and powder, allowing you to re-roll hits.

This gives folks another fun set of miniatures for the Cities Of Sigmar that really nail the personality of these new Mortal Realms citizens. Are these too much or are they just what folks needed?
