Get ready to explore a fascinating set of 28mm miniatures from Ramshackle Games and Curtis Fell as they head deep into the Boglands over on Kickstarter. This is an excellent range of Fantasy miniatures which can be dropped into all manner of twisted and weird wargames.

Bogland has been designed as any place you need it to be and the miniatures themselves would be perfect for representing the dark pits of Mordor or perhaps the domain of a mad wizard. It can also just be a world of its own since it comes with lore and background information that could well be used to craft your own, unique stories.

The range stands at currently an impressive forty-five miniatures alongside a host of different arms, weapons and accessories plus tokens which are going to be handy for objective-based games. Each of the miniatures has sockets allowing you to slot in whichever arms you like and there is a fun little story behind each of the packs.

The miniatures have the look of a range that wouldn't look out of place in a game like The Doomed or Verrotwood. I could also easily see these popping up on Gardens Of Hecate with Ana Polanšćak getting her hands on these.

There is something endlessly weird and uncanny about the miniatures which works so well. There's also an edge of folklore and British "oddness" to them as if they have been ripped from some tale told many moons ago about strange creatures that live in the bogs and fens that stretch out around remote villages.

The range is brilliant and this is just a taste of what you can get as part of the Kickstarter. There are loads of strange miniatures for you to choose from and plenty of wild tokens that might end up getting you thinking about strange scenarios to play out.

Ramshackle do an amazing range as it stands and so seeing this Boglanders collection come to life has been awesome. I love when folks do something weird and off-the-wall and it's refreshing when sat against the clean and perfect lines of ranges like Warhammer.
