Victrix has released a new set of plastic cavalry for you to use in your Napoleonic wargames at 28mm scale. The latest set is for the British Peninsular Heavy Dragoons who are going to be thundering into battle and sending the French scattering to the winds.

British Peninsular Dragoons - Victrix Limited

British Peninsular Dragoons // Victrix Limited

This set comes with twelve miniatures which can be used to represent the Peninsular Dragoons from 1812 through to 1813. The set has been designed to match the Historical records and it's likely that the uniform would have been in extended use thanks to the supply issues faced by the army during the Napoleonic period.

To showcase the details all the more, there are two sets of arms in the set allowing you to represent British regiments of the King's German Legion. There are also different options for either the sword scabbard or the sabretache. The sabretache was issued to the heavy cavalry but probably took a while to come into service. Your officer also has a choice of bicorn or shako with cords. Essentially, Victrix has done their book learnin' and put together a pretty extensive kit.

A great-looking kit that shows off all of the details that Victrix has managed to work into the kit. As always, I am totally in awe of the motion that Victrix are able to get into their horses. They look like a really dynamic unit that finds itself crashing across the battlefield, looking to route French infantry on the field.

As well as the Peninsular Dragoons, you are also able to dive into the larger Napoleonic range from Victrix right now as part of their Sale that's going on at the moment.

Will you be checking these out?
