After some time away from it, I am back onto some Star Wars Legion work.
I found it a little hard getting motivated for the current work – the continuation of the black body suit work, and the less frustrating armour wash and dry brush.
Pointy boys ready for their colour applicationAs mentioned previously I am working on groups of three, but not yet doing the colour stage (unsure if I will go with different colours, or use different layouts of yellow).
So, another two sets of three had their armour work done.
Then I carried out the body suit work on a set of three, and put them alongside the pointy boys.
And then the same slow (for me anyway) process on the next three.
That’s now nine down, twelve (of the base phase 1 clones) to go.
Good to have a process! I go by squad usually but I like the idea of doing all the same pose together!
If doing the same colour across all three squads is a bit much, maybe try completing two lots of three at a time to shake it up further?
Thanks for the feedback. The main bit dragging me down is the black bodysuit and joints stage. For some reason that is really slow for me – perhaps I am trying (and not doing very well) to be too neat. For this stage I am going to the groups of three. I actually enjoyed adding the yellow accents to the squad I completed. That seems to go on so much easier. Just need to decide if I’m going g to go with yellow across the board, in different patterns. Or stick with the pattern and use different colours for each… Read more »
