The first thing I wanted to do, was to build “The Wall” – a piece to edge the table and to help make the miniatures seem very small within the environment they are fighting in.

Having spent an afternoon dismantling the Nerf guns and also an old printer I started to look at how to combine the parts to make the wall section.

The first section of the wall would be 24 inches wide and 13 inches high and 3 inches deep. The base structure was made from Cardboard to give a solid frame to add the details to.

When you start ….. It does look pants! – but hopefully it gets much more “industrial looking” once it has some paint on it.

To begin with, two piece of one of the guns fitted together nicely to make a pretty cool looking doorway.

Once that was done, I started to build up the detail by throwing random things at it and to try to break the lines so things didnt look to “straight” or “flat”

Below is the detailing going over the top of the door way.

Gradually I just then kept adding other pieces along the wall under it was pretty densely covered with random parts.

Like I say, when it in its raw form, I takes some inagination to see what it will look like when painted.

This is how it looked once most of the pieces had been glued into place. I kept adding a few details here and there to pack out the wall.
