generally I do not think the wait is worth it. You concentrate so much on future stuff that you loos track of everything you could be playing right now. Remember, most companies don’t sell out in minutes like G’Wullu does but you can order at any time once it’s released. Enjoy the here and now. Yes, planning for something new is good but don’t overdo it.
People will be going “surely it’s bot wars” but it’s not. When Star Wars: Legion was announced Modiphius announced Fallout: Wasteland Warfare. And it took some years before I got my hand on a copy. A) because Modiphius delayed it again and again and B) I wasn’t so sure if I wanted to shell out full price. But then I found it at a large discount in a FLGS and snagged it up.
My biggest let down was a Kickstarter (to nobodies surprise). 2D dungeon tiles with non permanent stickers for terrain. The KS dragged on for years before finally getting cancelled. At least I got back half my pledge.

And now back to doing laundry. *sigh*
