Too Fat Lardies are now taking pre-orders for their new Wild West skirmish game, What A Cowboy! The rules will be available later in April and will offer up a quick and fun way for you to dive into some shootouts on the frontier.

What A Cowboy - Too Fat Lardies

What A Cowboy! // Too Fat Lardies

What A Cowboy! plays with somewhere between four to ten miniatures per side with a slick set of gaming rules that allow you to dive into creating diverse and interesting characters. Those characters can then grow and change throughout a full campaign system where you seek to turn your pesky varmints into legends of the Old West.

The campaign system features a selection of linked narrative scenarios that allow you to seek fame and fortune in the Wild West. It also features images by Jim Ibbotson and with features miniatures painted by John Savage. The Wild West is certainly turning into quite the Historical period to be playing in at the moment. Too Fat Lardies also produce a lot of quality games so this could be the route to go down if you're looking to get some Wild West action on the tabletop.

As well as being able to get your hands on the main rulebook, you are also able to get some bundles that give you additional accessories to aid with your games.

The Full Bundle comes with a set of What A Cowboy! cards with sufficient cards for ten characters per side and with the added Desperado Deck. You will also get a full set of tokens which can be used in game as well.

With the full release date being 24th April, folks won't have to wait long before diving into some more Wild West mayhem on the tabletop. I do like that Too Fat Lardies manage to bring together both the Historical and the Hollywood in their games and I might have to recommend this to Gerry!

Will you be checking out What A Cowboy!?
