Wyrdhollow is going to be a new starting point for those diving into Warhammer Underworlds. It features a focus on magic and magical power with two very different forces clashing on the tabletop. The first of these forces is very twisted and comes in the form of Ephilim's Pandaemonium.
Ephilim's Pandaemonium // Warhammer Underworlds
A wonderful and very weird new Sorcerer leading the way alongside a bunch of heavily mutated demons. This Gaunt Summoner is looking to turn this corner of the realm into a melting pot of magic where all manner of demonic oddities can pop up.
Looking to stop them, Sigmar has sent Domitan's Stormcoven.

These Knights-Arcanum from the Valedictor Temple are clad in Stormstrike armour and have been sent into the heart of this magical nexus in order to stop the Gaunt Summoner. You get three of these powerful mages including Domitan himself who looks absolutely freckin' badass.
Wyrdhollow will come with all of the bits and pieces that you need to play including tokens, dice and the like. You also get four decks to use right out of the box. Rivals Decks allow you to start playing without having to do any deckbuilding.

Honestly tempted. Mrs SG is painting Stormcast with her son and Tzeentch is my homeboy. On a board there’s a real danger we’d get a game in.
I’ve played Underworlds and enjoyed it. It’s possible to get carried away getting the best cards but sticking to the starter set is a nice self-contained project.
Mr. SG, GW has put a spotlight on playing Underworlds using Rivals (preconstructed deck only) or Nemesis (limited deck-building using a warband’s faction deck and a single Rivals deck) formats since September of last year, and formalized these formats the year before that. So you do not have to chase down cards anymore. One need only buy the warbands or starter sets one is interested in. Moreover, GW sells individual Rivals decks one can use with any warband (in either format) while also including two such decks in the starter (currently only in Gnarlwood and Wyrdhollow).
Those are really nice. Yes even those Sigmarines that I don’t really care for and never will.
Nope.
Yawn.
Tzeentch side of the box sell it to me. I dont mind the stormcast but wizards in heavy armour just does not feel right. The Tzeentch more than makes up for it with each model being quite different and unqiue a great little set.
Wholly agree. Thinking of swapping the models with some Empire battle wizards.
