Games Workshop have revealed a better look at the new miniature for Commander Dante of the Blood Angels. He is going to be soaring into your games of Warhammer 40,000, looking to stick it to Chaos!

The new miniature for Dante is very similar to the old one in terms of style. His very bespoke Mark X armour has been crafted by the greatest artificers in the Imperium and he still carries his Perdition Pistol and the Axe Mortalis into battle. A shining gold beacon on the battlefield for his brothers in arms.

I don't mind the new design for Dante and I think they've done a decent job of updating the classic sculpt to match the size and scale of the Primaris. The one thing I don't like about the miniature is the pose. It seems very uninspired and as if he could just be any other Space Marine with a jetpack.

I think it would have been awesome to see him crashing into the ground beneath him, the axe raised as if he is about to cut someone in two. With this sculpt, we don't really get an idea of what he's doing. A missed opportunity perhaps.

Are you going to be picking up Dante for Warhammer 40,000 and the Blood Angels?
