Ancient Indian Warriors Battle Alexander With V&V Miniatures
March 15, 2023 by brennon
Adding to their Ancient Indian collection, V&V Miniatures has now released their Indian Infantry in 28mm for use in your Ancient wargames (like SAGA for example?). This set comes with four new resin miniatures that sit nicely alongside the Archers they released recently.

The set comes with four miniatures in different poses, each carrying a couple of different weapons. In the above example, you can see them carrying clubs but you can also swap those out for swords if you would prefer.

What's nice about this set of miniatures is that they have thought about removing the hilts from the scabbards to the side of the warriors. If they hadn't done that, these fellows would have been rocking around with two swords!
This means that you can pick up two sets of the Indian Infantry and use them to bulk out your collection of Ancient warriors. These would be particularly good when used to face down the advancing armies of Alexander as he seeks to build his empire.

You've got some fun opportunities for painting up a very different force here. Much like when we looked at the new Crimean War Russians earlier today in the news, it feels like this is a good chance to go in a different direction with your wargames, collections and more.
Could you be tempted to dive in and pick up some of these Ancient warriors?

This is a good set of figures with great detail but a bit above my price range for filling an army.
