I appreciate the sentiment @blinky465 I really do as I am tech curious as most IT workers are but first and foremost I must point to “1. Lack of space” I have nowhere to set up a 3D printer of any description. My home office/hobby room is filled to the brim and the garage (where my airbrush lives) is so stuffed I can barely walk from front to back.

And my wife will have my head and some other more important appendages if I suggest setting up a noisy, smelly and potential fire hazard device in the kitchen or living room.

Again, really appreciate the thought but no can do sir. It would just stay in its box and remain there until either my daughter is old enough and moves out (which takes 6 more year at the minimum) or we actually find an affordable house to buy.

So unless 1. isn’t solved the discussion is rather theoretical in nature. 🙂
