You want to be very careful playing Dwarfs in Confrontation. You need to adjust your expectations. They play less like the dwarfs you might expect and more like orcs and goblins from Warhammer hanging all their hopes on extreme rolls “yeah, but if I roll a 6 something awesome happens!” They are very tough and very hard to kill. However, their low initiative (even lower than a zombie!) across the whole faction means they always attack last. If they get hit they receive a stun token which gives them -1 to hit and -1 defence. Oh yeah, for sure the Dwarfs have a lot of set backs in Confrontation mate I agree. But I tell you what, have one of your Khors on Razorback charge in with steam powered strength and it will punch through some pretty tough armoured opponents. And yes they are super slow. This si a massive burdon if you are playing an objective grab based scenario. But their RES stats are so high that they can take the first whack and then reply with a strong punch follow-up.
