The Aeldari & Drukhari Get New Warhammer 40K Boarding Patrols
February 22, 2023 by brennon
Games Workshop isn't slowing down when it comes to releasing Boarding Patrols it seems. More factions are going to be getting smaller 500-point armies for playing out the new Boarding Actions game mode for Warhammer 40,000. This time, the Sci-Fi armies of the Aeldari and the Drukhari get themselves new fighting forces.

Leading the way is my faction of choice for Warhammer 40,000, the Aeldari. They get themselves a rather fascinating set that features a lot of specialists. That certainly works with the idea of forming a boarding patrol to take down a specific target in the depths of a space hulk.
Boarding Patrol - Aeldari // Warhammer 40,000
This set comes with twenty Corsairs (from the old Kill Team set) that can be built as Voidreaver Troops or armed to the nines as Voidscarred Elites. That means you can either use them to provide you with a good firebase or make them specialists, each with their own set of A-Team-like skills.
The force also features the combat monster that is Jain Zar, the Phoenix Lord of the Howling Banshees and five of that kin. I wouldn't want to run into them in the tight confines of a space hulk and I could see this being a solid pick for Boarding Actions.
The Drukhari aren't to be outdone with their complement of options for use in Boarding Actions.
Boarding Patrol - Drukhari // Warhammer 40,000
This set comes with a Succubi who is then backed up by twenty Wyches and five Incubi. If you wanted to throw all of your eggs into one basket then making your Boarding Patrol very focused on combat and nothing else certainly does the job. With the benefit of their incredible mobility, these troops are going to close on the enemy easily so it will be all about when you launch your assault. A proper glass cannon of a force.
Could you be tempted by the Aeldari or Drukhari?
