Something To Fight Over
With an army ready to go, a player or two coming out of the woodwork at my FLGS dusting off their Bolt Action armies. (My local store is very GW /MTG focused). I wanted to work on my home set up – so I will need buildings, hedges, trees and what the heck is a bocage? The sound a French chicken makes or something?

Full disclosure the big building is my dad’s place, he restored it from a bit of a ruin. It served as German and allied head quarters during WWII. it’s about 40 minutes drive from Cherbourg.

I believe bocage is some sort of French vegetarian dish. It’s supposed to be chock full of fiber, so it’d be good for clearing you out.
Bocage hedgerows are notable for being very tall and thick. The base is normally a mound of stone and earth so a good way to make bocage is to make clay or foam sausages for the base, cover it in sand and small aquarium rocks and paint that. Then glue whatever you’re using for hedges on top.
