Kromlech has dropped their newest range of releases for your Sci-Fi wargames. With a whole host of alternative options for use with a grimdark wargame or two, the Caste Enclave are on the hunt and looking to expand their empire.

The new selection of miniatures from Kromlech comes in resin and shows off an impressive range of drones that can be used to secure the greater good on the tabletop. Whilst I've mentioned grimdark, these miniatures would be great for a range of Sci-Fi games thanks to their overall design. The different sets come festooned with weapons that can be used to melt, burn and put holes in your enemies from afar.

The Emergency Drone Team are good for rushing into the action and securing specific locations but if you're looking for something a bit heftier, you can also call on the Barrage Drone Team.

These Drone Teams swap manoeuvrability for being able to lug impressive racks of missiles into battle and punchy railguns. I love that the same basic drone design is used but the Caste Enclaves have modified them to have those bit, stabilising legs underneath. You could imagine them clanking across the battlefield and them rocking back as the guns fire.

If you want to zoom around then there is also another big option for you to consider when playing as the Caste Enclave. Here you have the Angelshark!

This creation zooms across the battlefield armed with a decent array of guns. I think we're seeing a theme here when it comes to the way the Caste Enclave like conducting business! This piece is fairly sizable and could be used to represent a selection of different vehicles I reckon. Again, I am absolutely loving the aesthetic of this range and it's fun to see the folks at Kromlech tinkering away at new ideas.

Last but not least, you can also get your hands on a bunch of additional Drones in massive swarms. There are options for an Attack Drone Swarm and a Support Drone Swarm that can be used to supplement your regular infantry or work as your infantry!

Maybe you could go as far as to replace all of the fleshy units in your Caste Enclaves army with these drones? It would be a fun way to theme an army! Maybe the entire force is controlled by the mind of one very brain commander figure who doesn't even bother sitting on the battlefield.
