The fans of Conquest: The Last Argument Of Kings have now voted and the Project 8 army has been picked. The next army coming to the world of Ea from Para Bellum Games is going to be The Sorcerer Kings with their powerful magics!

The Sorcerer Kings came out on top with 41.76% of the votes and that means we're going to be diving into an army with a fascinating aesthetic that draws on different elements of Asian History and Mythology. Even though this army is still a little way off, there are still some excellent work-in-progress sculpts and concept art for you to get a look at.

As you can see, there are some pretty fascinating characters coming down the pipeline. As always with Para Bellum, they tend to take something familiar and then add their own spin to it. I think that particular Sorceress above is going to be very fun to paint, especially with her guardian.
As mentioned, there were also a few concept art pieces that dropped for The Sorcerer Kings. They keep with those Asian vibes and there is certainly something Indian in design about their arms and armour.

You certainly get that vibe all the more when you see the likes of the tiger cavalry that they can call on! I was still hoping that we'd see Hel come out on top (they came second) but I am going to be excited to see where they go with The Sorcerer Kings and what the 35mm miniatures look like!

Blast! That tiger cav looks awesome. I’ve been working on trying to get some created that are more akin to Sikhs than Timurids but this might change my mind. I’m not sold on the scale as the rest of my future force build is in 28mm. Good stuff overall.
