Arbites & Drukhari Clash In New Warhammer 40K Kill Team Set!
January 27, 2023 by brennon
We thought it was coming and we weren't disappointed today when it came to the reveal of the newest Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team set, Soulshackle. The Adeptus Arbites are clashing with the forces of the Drukhari in the heart of the Gallowdark.

The newest set for Kill Team from Games Workshop has the Adeptus Arbites fighting their way into the heart of the Gallowdark as they seek to their hands on their intended target. Someone needs to be put away and they are going to blast apart anyone who gets in their way.
Adeptus Arbites Exaction Squad // Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team
The set comes with a whole bunch of components for making an excellent Kill Team of Adeptus Arbites troopers. You've got a mix of different weaponry here from shotguns to riot batons and everything in between. There's even a faithful hound to send hunting your opponents. You've also got that classic shield for smashing people to the ground.
A lot of the original aesthetic for the Arbites has remained but they have also updated the set in a few different ways to bring it in line with the designs more commonly found on the likes of the Sisters Of Battle. Those helmets, for example, match up quite nicely with those that the Sisters wear.
Going up against the Arbites, we have the Drukhari and the Hand Of The Archon.
Hand Of The Archon // Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team
This is an upgrade sprue for the existing Kabalite Warriors set that you can snap up for Warhammer 40,000. It comes with a host of weapons and such that you'll be familiar with but then additional bits for customising your Kabalite Warriors and turning them into a unique fighting force as the Hand Of The Archon.
It wouldn't be a new Kill Team set without some terrain and they have delivered another hefty box worth of stuff.

As well as the standard wall sections and the like, there are also some new scatter terrain pieces which have been added to help flavour this next endeavour into the heart of the Gallowdark. You get a new table showing off a glowing representation of the interior and also loads of panels and cogitator units. You can also now blast holes in bulkhead walls so that's going to be fun to play with!
Are you going to be snapping this up?

I’m only thinking of this for use with Boarding Actions as the new terrain looks to give a bit of variety to the layouts.
Love the Arbites.
I’ll wait for the Arbites to be released separately. Although I’m still waiting for the Kasrkin and Navy Breachers. Anyone know when they are out individually?
Ah yes GW’s not Judges from Judge Dredd. They are the law.
Space Gimps all ‘round then
Those ‘arbites’ are rejected battle sisters concept models?
I thought 40K’s Judge Dredd-esque jackbooted thugs were cool back when they came out for the first Necromunda, and I think GW did a great job making the new ones cool as well.
