Flashy Mounted Guerrillas Ride Out From Perry Miniatures
January 23, 2023 by brennon
Perry Miniatures has expanded its range of Spanish Guerrillas that you can use during your Napoleonic conflicts on the tabletop. Three new sets of 28mm Mounted Guerrillas have been added to their webstore, decked out in all their flamboyant finery.

Your foot troops might bog down the enemy but it's the cavalry that can come riding in to save the day and put the nail in the coffin. There is a good mix of different miniatures across the three sets including Guerillas with lances and firearms at the ready.

They come armed with a variety of different weapons but you'll also note that many of them are wearing captured uniforms and other accessories that they have pilfered from their foes. It makes for a proper motley crew and really adds to the character of the force on the tabletop. Why wouldn't you nab a good coat or hat/helmet? If nothing else, it shows off to your enemies and tells that you're not to be messed with!
The last of the sets does away with the lances and firearms and instead arms the Guerrillas with swords.

Again, you've got a good mix of different styles of arms and armour throughout the collection and that builds on that Guerrilla aesthetic. If you're looking to play as the Spanish Army during the Napoleonic period then you can't go too far wrong with these. They should suit armies that cover the period 1807-1814.
Could you be tempted by these new Spaniards from Perry Miniatures?

Those are splendid. If my Silver Bayonet project ever gets finished I’d like to upgrade it to a Sharpe Practice project and these would be right at home!
¡Quë miniaturas más bonitas!
Gawds accent fail there. That’ll teach me

Fab looking game figures.
