The set comes with everything you need to play Blood & Plunder. You have two crews of salty sea dogs plus the heroic Blackbeard and Robert Maynard. I would have bought B&P ages ago, sadly the 2 player starter sets are not available in the UK (never been able to find out why). Importing with VAT and Import duties makes buying from abroad a non-runner.
Ah. That may be my salvation. I presumed getting an unboxing on BOW meant it was being released over here, so if that was an incorrect assumption then starting without the starter set would make it too much of a financial commitment for me to get into a new game. If it gets stocked in the UK though, I’m sunk!

This was on my buy list. Wanted it for an RPG campaign I’m running.
The unboxing actually put me off. Ship look smaller than I hoped.
Set looks good value otherwise, but I wasn’t buying it as a skirmish, so rest of box not much use to me.
