Mantic Games’ Deadzone! The Perfect Alternative To Warhammer 40K & Kill Team? #OTTWeekender
January 13, 2023 by avernos
It's OTT Weekender time! We have a look at the excellent new Starter Set coming up for Mantic Games' Deadzone. This is turning out to be a perfect alternative to Warhammer 40K and their Sci-Fi skirmish game, Kill Team.
The new set comes with an excellent array of miniatures for both the Plague and the Asterians. Both factions have got an upgrade with fancy plastic kits and a few new character miniatures too. It seems a great time to have a go at Deadzone for yourself!

Orkquest does look good.
A brilliant show guy’s
I’d love to see you actually consider resin price in your 3D printing segments. You always talk like its free. Its certainly cheaper than buying the models, but it’s far from free. If you’re printing something large it can get quite costly. Throw in the price of the files too and it all adds up. A large file you’ll only ever print once might actually cost more than if you’d bought a similar mini.
As at least some of the indies may have gone it would be worth adding where they might be found now if you can
I’ve been a long time lover of Mantic and it’s great to see so many of my gaming friends being grabbed to excellent new sets both KOW and Deadzone. Love it!
Dear lordy those Bushido models look sweet. Have a fantastic weekend folks!
great swow as allways
Aargh I love the 3d-printed terrain. I won’t own a 3d printer any time soon though.
Happy bump day!
