Scratch Your Way To Adventure With Once Upon A Line

A fascinating new board game is coming to Kickstarter soon from Perte & Fracas. Once Upon A Line is the very first "scratch-off" adventure game. Yes, you heard me right!

In the game, you take on the role of the Zephrhymes who take control of being in order to stop tragedies from occurring and upsetting the balance of the universe. In this story, The Butterfly's Breath, a terrible pandemic has ruined the world and insects have become MASSIVE. Everything seems fine but things could go wrong at any moment!

Once Upon A Line Components // Perte & Fracas

Once Upon A Line lets you dive into a narrative experience that is played out over the course of a series of chapters. You will take on the role of heroes that use their actions to play on a board of scratch-off ink. This will lead you to uncover hidden words and ways to get new cards. These new cards will reveal parts of the story as well as new words that you can find to finish your mission.

Adding to the word games, you'll also have to elude traps that take the form of riddles, anagrams and palindromes (awesome) and you'll need to complete your quest before scratching off the last square on The Line Of Tragedy.

Talk about something new and different. Once Upon A Line sounds like a great concept and one that I'd love to learn more about. There are a few videos for you to check out on the game which give you more insight and the game is set to come to Kickstarter on 17th January 2023!
