Perry Miniatures Releases British Mounted Units

Perry Miniatures has released some more mounted British Army units from the 1800's. You have pre-Crimean War Hussars, Lancers and Canadian Volunteer Cavalry now trotting off into the mix.
I have always been fascinated by this time period and the uniform styles. It amazes me how these men went off to battle in clothing such as these and how I compare them to our modern day battle dress.
The Perry brothers do an amazing job as always, so whether you are a historical gamer or just a collector these just might need to be added to your list.
Will these men be joining your formations?

These for blooming lovely and I can see them being of use for Very British Civil War too as yeomanry cavalry
What’s not to like?
Why are hooves not on the ground connected with this odd “sand towers”?
Also, very poor faces, at least for 28mm. Are these 10mm/15mm?
They use the same method as other companies do to make horses at speed connect to their bases. GW also bases their horses with the ‘sand towers’ you speak of. Some folks like ’em; Easy enough to knock them off, and I cut off the ones I can. But I always try to to leave at least one leg on each half of the horse anchored to the base for stability. I personally think the Perry brothers are the most talented sculptures of 28mm military miniatures.
There crusading era ranges I the reason I got into playing Deus Vult.
Until recently I only had a luke warm interest in 19th century warfare pre the Crimean war, but all the great recent releases and the fact that I have read some good rules for the period have turned me around.
Ps: Cool they made the Canadian volunteers!
