Glimpse Creative Concepts Behind The Lord Inquisitor
January 18, 2015 by dracs
Two concept sketches for The Lord Inquisitor have appeared, both of which promise interesting things for this 40k fan film.
This first sketch shows the initial concept for a grand hive city, an iconic location of the Warhammer 40k universe. The prospect of visiting a hive city in The Lord Inquisitor is definitely an exciting prospect, and means we could be treated to some spectacularly grand and gothic environments.
The second concept, however, might be even more exciting.
Here we see a bunch of Imperial Guard doing what they do best; acting as canon fodder as they get mowed down by the biggest beasty on the table. That massive thing is either a daemon prince or a Bloodthirster of Khorne, both of which sound like incredibly exciting additions to the film.
I really hope that these sketches turn out to be part of the final film, which will hopefully be seeing more progress in the coming year. They're excellent sketches in their own right, and I hope we can see more soon.
What would you like to see appear in The Lord Inquisitor?

will be good if they have a large navel battle Like in sabbat martyr (gaunt’s ghosts)
I agree with the naval battle. Seing kilometer long starships blow each other to bits would be extremely epic.

That would be maddly cool to watch an entire 300 episodes series picturing a campaign in a entire sector but from different sides of the battlefield, it will promote 40k to every single nerd in the world… they are ready for gore and epicness on giant scale. And if you believe we, Otakus , can eat grim dark in anime… Read more »
