Khurasan Miniatures have released some new 15mm miniatures for those diving into a bit of Ancient warfare on the tabletop. The newest set of miniatures represents the Chatti, one of the most fearsome Germanic Tribes that the Romans faced during their conquest of Europe.

A whole host of miniatures have been released for those wanting to play as the Chatti. The command elements are there alongside a bunch of regular infantry that makes up the basis of your Chatti as they take on the forces of Rome.

Chatti Veterans - Khurasan Miniatures

Chatti Veterans // Khurasan Miniatures

According to the folks at Khurasan, the Chatti were a deadly Germanic Tribe that features young warriors that didn't cut their hair until they had killed an enemy in battle. Others were known to have worn iron rings or collars until they had slain a foe. These warriors (shown below) would have been in the front rank and were raring to get stuck in.

As well as both young and veteran warriors, the folks at Khurasan have also worked on skirmishing javelin throwers who come naked! You could use these to ambush from the woods and start harassing the flanks of the enemy army whilst your warriors get stuck in.

They also had access to cavalry that would have been used in a support capacity and could run down stragglers that escape from the battlefield.

This is a neat collection and it's good to see more of the specifically catered-to enemies of Rome popping up from the likes of Khurasan. I think they have done a solid job here and a lot of Ancient wargamers fighting in 15mm are probably going to be very happy with these.

The miniatures are packed with detail and it shouldn't be hard for you to get some mighty armies together without much hassle.

Could you be tempted by the Chatti?
