Red Bard Bring Oldhammer Ogre Mercenaries To Kickstarter

Red Bard Games, who we had a look at as part of an Indie Of The Week recently, are still on Kickstarter with their project that is seeking to bring to life a band of Oldhammer-style Ogre Mercenaries.

Red Bard Games has been working away on bringing a whole host of fantastic Oldhammer miniatures to the tabletop via 3D Printing for a little while now. As well as offering up digital offerings on their webstore, they have also produced physical miniatures like the ones you see here for those that just want to get stuck in and paint!

The range that you see above is fit for the 28mm scale wargames of yesteryear and each has been meticulously sculpted and resculpted to try and get that traditional look. I think the folks at Red Bard Games have pretty much nailed it and everyone from the Ogre General down to the lowly Swordsman looks fantastic for use in your Fantasy wargames.

All of the miniatures are provided in 3D Printed Resin which has been tested for its detail and durability. If you're interested in how the miniatures look in reality, there are obviously the miniatures as presented on the Kickstarter and more to see over on their webstore HERE.
Some neat bonuses have also been thrown into the mix for this Kickstarter including the massive Giant that you see here casually enjoying a pint.

There are also additional Stretch Goals that offer up more miniatures for the core pledge and accessories that might help during your Oldhammer games. I think the Ogre Bounty Hunter is a particular favourite and I could see him wandering the roads of the Old World.

Make sure to dive in and take a peek at more of what Red Bard Games has to offer. They have shared more painted pictures of the Ogre miniatures on Kickstarter showcasing how they might look on the battlefield or in skirmish scenarios.
If you're a fan of that Oldhammer style of miniatures but done with a modern twist then I would certainly consider checking this Kickstarter out.
Are you going to be having a closer look?
