Archon Studio are closing in on the last few hours for their newest board game Kickstarter. Heroes Of Might & Magic III: The Board Game offers up a way to play the classic Fantasy Strategy computer game on the tabletop with a HUGE host of expansions building on the core game.

The focus of Heroes Of Might & Magic III is pretty much that of the computer game. You will choose a faction and then head out and explore the game map, finding new allies to bring to your side and foes for you to defeat. Mines and treasures that you find through exploration then help build up your resources which can be used to gain access to more and more bonuses and of course, upgrade your heroes and your armies.

Talking of armies, one of the big parts of Heroes Of Might & Magic is building up fantastical armies (featuring a stunning range of miniatures in this case) and then battling against your foes for dominance. A special board included with the game replicates the look of the classic Heroes Of Might & Magic battlefields that you'll be familiar with.

There are multiple different routes to victory which means that a variety of playstyles are available to heroes. Maybe you want to become the richest person at the tabletop? Maybe you'll seek out and find the grail? Maybe you'll go down the route of being the biggest military power and dominate your opponents with sheer strength.

As you might have guessed from the rather extensive graphic above, the core game for Heroes Of Might & Magic III: The Board Game comes with absolute mountains of content for you to get stuck into. Much like with Elden Ring: The Board Game that we saw on Kickstarter recently, I get the sense that Heroes Of Might & Magic III: The Board Game is going to be one of those games that takes your entire attention for a good year or two. If you're missing a BIG board game in your collection and you love a bit of Might & Magic, I could see this being a pretty good project to dive into. You're certainly not going to run out of content to play through.

As mentioned, the Kickstarter Campaign is incredibly well-funded so you're not going to be backing a campaign that doesn't have a bunch of backers behind it. They are nearly at £3,000,000 as the campaign winds down over the next few hours.
