Quar update
For some reason life got really busy and it took a lot longer to get to this point than I had anticipated. However, the majority of the work is done on these.
I do still need to do the bases, flags and give them a matt varnish but none of that is too time consuming.
I took the liberty to quickly paint up a matchbox vehicle that I had forgotten about for years and have also made a small amount of progress o some terrain pieces. More on that in a later update.
I would like to say all my Quar are now done, but I fell into the trap of ordering a few more. They have yet to arrive so for now the Quar are temporarily done as far as painting goes.
They are looking great!
I have some of the 15mm Quar and have always wanted to get some of the 28mm sculpts too!
With the zombiesmiths collaboration with wargames Atlantic to create some plastic figures I will wait for them and go from there!!!
Thanks. The 15mm Quar look fantastic, and I am very tempted to get some myself. I love some of the vehicles available for some of the different factions.
With plastics on the cards, I am hoping that the Quar get some extra love from Zombiesmith. Be good to see new stuff getting added and to bulk out some of the existing factions which are a bit slim on the ground when it comes to figures.
Would love to see your Quar when you get them painted up.
Yeh, I’m hoping the plastics can really get some momentum going for the Quar from Zombiesmith. The rules dir the 15mm still haven’t been finalised (due partly to the pandemic) but still frustrating!!
I will need to get my Quar all sorted out and primed! I went with the Creevan faction. Loved the artwork for them!

Thanks. It’s actually only one truck. I left the Canvas parts so they could be removed to add variety. One of the scenarios in one of the books involves a couple of Quar trying to get a truck started, and keep it running, to escape from a group of Partisans. I will try to do a Battle report of that scenario at some point. The model is a Matchbox Y-13 1918 Crossley from the Models of Yesteryear range.
