Warmachines’ Epic Elf Faction! New Dusk House Kallyss Miniatures Coming To MK4! #OTTWeekender
November 4, 2022 by warzan
It's OTT Weekender time! Another awesome preview from Privateer Press for Warmachine! We got a look at the new Dusk House Kallyss miniatures that are coming to MK4 soon. Do Warmachine now have the coolest Fantasy Elves?
If you're looking for some seriously cool wargaming Elf miniatures with attitude as an alternative to what we've seen before in the likes of Warhammer, I think these fit the bill. The "Elves" of Warmachine have got themselves an excellent new look for the new edition of Warmachine.

Is there anybody there?
sidney?
There’s nobody here but us chickens
quack quack
Are these suitable for .leaving on a shelf??
nah that’s reserved for shite GW minis
Am I the first?
Clearly not 🙁
Could that drive-in be from The Blob?
it was in my head Blob or attack of the killer tomatoes, although people still have to watch night of the lepus.
Was that the giant rabbit movie?
it was, there may be questions later
My only memory of that movie is a rabbit next to toy train set, but I only saw it once and that was more years ago than I care to remember.
the only one I can think off was twister but to modern for that cinema.
Night of the Lepus!!!! what a great movie but Father Ted did the horror of bunnies way better
John Lyons looks a lot like Justin this week.
wait until the XLBS, it will blow your mind
Very much looking forward to team Yankee Red Dawn. I’ve dived right into team Yankee and I’m loving it. Everything is so detailed and goes together so easily. I’m holding off putting a Soviet ‘descent’ force together until these airborne units are released but that’s not stopping me putting together a motor rifle battalion. I mean someone has to reach the airborn when they jump a fijord too far in a Norwegian campaign….thing is I picked up oil war and that looks great too so I’m torn between winter basing or sand….curse you and your awesomeness Team Yankee
Good to see Warren again! And who doesn’t like some elite Italians.
WEEKENDER time.
You should always paint them black.?
I can see Justin singing the song.?
So initially I found @warzan‘s “enthusiasm” for tentacles disconcerting, and then he started talking about Legend of the Overfiend and it all made sense….
Perhaps you can get one of them fancy laser pens that scans the page an reads it to you @warzan .
Battle beyond the boxes?
This Weekender contains Fogou? Can’t watch it then, might eat my wallet.
admit it, you watched and loved it, then bought something 😉 😉
The Saplings? Ben.
Yay more Dragons.
As someone who is of a certain age, I too was recently subject to the vomit-inducing, visual weirdness of varifocals. All I can say is that although the effects do lessen, it’s still a hard choice between having the kind of optical shenanigans normally associated with dropping acid or living with blindbuggeritis.
The truly terrifying thing for me is that I was prescribed mine for driving and was told to wear them around the house to get used to them but under no circumstances should I drive!
fab show guys.
great weekender im suprised you had the energy @warzan after a week getting your balls sorted out in the garden
Looking forward to Red Dawn. Grew up on the movie. The elves for war machine just don’t do it for me. Not sure why but I’m very meh on them.
Its from The Blob i think mid 60s
this not an entry either Gerry is right on movie. And thanks, prize has arrived and you guy ROCK!!!!!
enjoy *coughs* project *coughs*
I must confess the first Ed of D&D was 2nd ed advanced D&D …..Ben that was for the maths experts compared to this current manifestation.
Our group also went down the route of constructive and different spell casting, eg web as an offensive spell verses magic users to glue spell components to their hands.
@warzan Don’t make the mistake of driving before you’ve gotten use to the glasses lol I did that and it’s freaky… I also had a pair made especially for computer use, the lens is slightly different to normal Varifocals and they were easier to get use to than my normal Varifocals.
I’m getting intrigued by Dystopian Wars and I’m not a big fan of naval warfare. I’ll be catching up on all the factions this weekend.
I like what you’re writing to support those Dystopian Age starter sets. Some games do great army starters that are balanced against each other, making good starting points, but other companies are terrible at this. GW, for example, make boxes to start your collection, and not to let 2 people play a fun and balanced intro game. They also don’t advise you on what to build from all those option in the box. When the unit has multiple options and you’ve never played a game yet you have no contet to any rules or stats so you’re almost guarenteed to… Read more »
