Is this a Bot War spin off? 😉
Lol you know you want it Sundancer.
Love the robots … or are they manned? either way, very cool. I do like the platforms and the campaign that is included in the expansion.
They are manned “warships” in the lore, yes. They are mostly crewed by the elite Teutonic order (an ancient order that now acts as enforcers for the Kaiser), although the Hochmeisters can also have Scandinavian crews and the Metzgers are often piloted by Prussians.
The rigs are a good addition to help broaden the scope beyond fighting in the middle of the ocean. I’m looking forward to seeing how defensive placements are used in the future to enable things like a harbour attack.
love the variety of the various faction fleets.
Would be nice to see how some of the other sets expand these ranges too.
As this would be the box I’d go for it I delved, that’s the best expanding factions to look at.
I always feel a little overwhelmed about where to take a starter box, so glad to see some suggestions.
I have ordered the other beyond box and very tempted with this one (maybe when the first one is done). I see that the Tintagel’s can land and deploy ground units does that mean land units are on the horizon or are they for assaulting platforms?
will there be any “terrain obstacles”?
Cool factions.
Best naval game out there!
