October 27, 2022 by brennon
Blacklist Games are currently still taking pre-orders for its retro gaming board game, Contra: The Board Game. Dive into an ace one-to-four-player game of mayhem on the tabletop based on Konami's hit video game series.
Contra: The Board Game // Blacklist Games
Contra: The Board Game is a run-and-gun action game where you'll be making use of a commando deck based on one of four different soldiers. Then, there are also four enemy decks for you to fight with each one leading to a final boss in classic video game fashion. There are also four different hostile environments to explore and survive in!

You will have to use your cards in the right way in order to defeat your foes and then complete objectives as you push through to the win. If you'd like to find out more about how the game plays, Blacklist Games put together some great videos last year covering the action.

And multiple questions around the identity of the fellow who owns BLG and what his name even is. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg of interesting lies that folks have been told (including the Sadler Bros. designers… Read more »
Ouch just did some reading. Take away from this is, buy it if you are at retail (and have inspected the contents of the box to ensure it’s all there BEFORE purchase). Don’t plan on seeing any future releases (plus this has hit retail before all the KS backers got their copies). Don’t expect to see any customer service re missing parts etc.
…..and never, ever, ever back anything by these guys on any form of crowd funding.
