Draco Studios Add Epic Dragon Rules To 5th Edition With New Guide
October 24, 2022 by brennon
Draco Studios love dragons. It's in their name! So, it makes sense that they would be coming to Kickstarter soon with their new project, Itza's Guide To Dragonbonding. This is going to be a big new tome that will be useful alongside 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons.

Itza's Guide is going to be the definitive guide to dragons with rules for dragon companions, dragon combat and ancient draconic rune magic. As someone who loves dragons themselves, this seems like one of those books that I need to snap up. You can even add a proper full-blown dragon to your party who will grow and change with you as you level up!

Breaking things down a little more, the book is going to offer up a whole heap of fascinating content for those looking to battle alongside dragons and against them.
- 3x New Races
- 12x New Traits for key races
- 3x New Classes: Dragon Hunter, Dragon Herald, Vaala Adept
- 8x Subclasses
- Rules for bonding, and adventuring with one or more dragons in your party
- Rules for fighting alongside dragons including aerial combat
- Rules for fighting against dragons
- Two new magic systems
- 50+ new monsters
- Encounter generator
- 7x new dragon broods and their associated stats
I've always thought that there is something to be said for including more rules for dragons in D&D. It's all well and good for them to be a big threat in your games but I do like the idea that there is more now in the mix for adventurers that want to battle alongside these mighty beasts.

You might remember that Draco Studios actually created a pretty awesome board game alongside Alessio Cavatore. You can find out more about that in the video down below!

I think this new book sounds awesome and looks to be packed with wonderful artwork and some intriguing rules. With the Kickstarter coming 8th November, there's more detail for you to dive into HERE and the option to help with playtesting too.
Are you going to be snapping this up for your own D&D games?
