Anvil Industry Do Up 28mm Sci-Fi Soldiers In Their Dress Uniform
October 21, 2022 by brennon
Anvil Industry are going their bit to make sure that the regiments of the grimdark future are supplied with enough soldiers to keep the war effort going. Some of their newest soldiers come done up in their Dress Uniform, allowing you to make some splendidly over-the-top 28mm Sci-Fi soldiers.

There are two sets for you to choose from allowing you to make both Male and Female troopers in this "Historic Dress Uniform". Each of the squads comes with standard issue rifles but, in grand Anvil Industry fashion, you can also add specialist weapon bits, accessories and more which allows you to turn this unit into a Command Squad instead.

As mentioned, you can snap up both Male and Female Squads. You could go down the route of having just one set of miniatures or do some mixing and matching. I think that's the way that I would go, looking to create the feel of a proper galaxy-spanning empire where everyone needs to fight.

I like that the different squads aren't drastically different from each other (why would they be after all?). I also like that you have lots of fun poses for both sets with soldiers kneeling, running, aiming, firing and more.
It is well worth exploring Anvil Industry's webstore as they have a lot of awesome bitz for making your perfect regiment of Imperial Guard/Astra Militarum for Warhammer 40,000. Obviously, these soldiers would also be perfect for a range of other Sci-Fi games too like Grimdark Future or as a crew in Stargrave!
Are you tempted to snap up these sets?

Nice colonial era British themed miniatures.
Nice to have even more options to represent different elements of Gaunt’s Ghosts – these might form a good basis for members of the much-maligned Colours Company….
Yay the new 3th foot an mouth Regiment can be deployed to the field.
Fantastic looking figures to add to game’s.
Anvil Industry frustrate me that they don’t sell everything in their range as stls, just a handful. I’ve bought a few of the digital things and loved them,,
Cant say im a huge fan of these, the latest Wargames Atlantic’s look better for me.
