Puppets War’s Third Steam Ogre Unit Will Slay You

The third unit of Puppets War's steam powered ogres is now available, a collection of mighty Slayers who promise to live up to their name.
This ominously named unit of automata seem to be the elite of Puppets War's Steam Ogres. They each have heavier upper body armour with spiked shoulder pauldrons, and carry massive two-handed melee weapons that are also available separately.
Puppets War's Steam Ogres are very imaginative miniatures in their own right and this Slayer unit is without doubt the most menacing among them. The great thing about a set of miniatures like this is that they could conceivably be used in any setting, be it scifi, fantasy or standard steampunk, so I think it will be interesting to see what people choose to do with them.
What are your thoughts on these Slayer ogres?

Very nice! Not so sure about the weapons, but it would be easy enough to give them different ones. Actually, the only one I’m not overly keen on is the meat tenderizer. Too big for my liking, but that’s just personal preference.
I quite like these, but would love to see some comparison shots (when these guys are available) with GW Ogres.
Tempting though and I agree with the mention of their potential versatility.
That hammer seems to be made so that it makes minced meat out of those that it hits.
Just in time for the new WHFB ogre die off! LOL. Seriously though nice models. Having ogres for WHFB I am very much wondering with all these rumors of massive changes and whatnot … factions down to just six … if the ogres will go back to a dogs of war style choice or just go the way of the squats.
