Titan-Forge’s Lord Of Fury Hits Kickstarter January 23rd!
January 10, 2015 by brennon
23rd January 2015 spells the return to Kickstarter for Titan-Forge and they've given us a much better look at the one leading the charge. At the head of the armies of some hellish realm we have the Lord of Fury!
Presented above with a rather brutal looking axe and a sword (potentially) in the other hand this is looking like one of their best pieces yet. I can't wait to see this guy properly once he's up on Kickstarter and what else is coming for the Demonic Kingdoms they've promised.
What else do you think they'll make?
Just of word of advise here… If you think these miniatures are looking good and you’re thinking of jumping in that kickstarter, you should have a look at Titan Forge’s other kickstarters… The updates are few are far between, they rarely visit the comment section are questions are mostly unanswered (even if you’ve taken the time to write to them directly). They have a huge communication problem and even though the backers are pointing it out constantly, nothing is done to change the situation… They keep saying they’re sorry but nothing changes The Armymals kickstarter was a mess. It closed… Read more »
And that is why I avoid Kickstarter focused projects. We the backers have very little options after the campaign ends. Not just them but all KS have the risk of falling flat. I’ll buy when its in a store or on a web store. I’m a client then and they have to send or I get my money back. Its that straight forward and simple.
Case in point: Defiance Games. Nice to know the money was used to buy drinks with little umbrellas in them on a hot beach, while the company tanked… I can wait till the products become available. I don’t support kickstarters anymore either.
Yes… That was my second and last attempt. I can assure you… Most backers who already received their pledge are talking about poor packaging and damaged products as well… And Titan Forge don’t answer those who write them to tell them so.
Plus, the kickstarter exclusives and add-ons will be shipped at some latter date… No information on when…
We were supposed to receive our pledge in October… Still waiting…
I think you’ll be waiting a while. According to the comments on the site, Defiance has gone bankrupt.
@cpauls1: I was talking about Armymals… Sorry it wasn’t clear. I didn’t back the Defiance Games kickstarter.
Good heads up, I have there nurgle deamon prince stand in and its a stunning model so this caught my attention.
Thanks
That’s exciting. They already make fantastic sci-fi steampunk kind of stuff :-).
Yeah, they are not that good at running a KS, but the end product is fantastic.
I am still waiting on their last kickstarter to arrive, not happy at all. I will pledge on the next one so I can warn backers away.
That’s my intention too…
