Spring Cleaning - with an AT-AT!
Meanwhile, an X34 is prepared for my Rebels
After thinking about it a bit, the idea of a normal civilian vehicle with Sabine’s artwork on it has been discarded. I already have her artwork on her own armour, and as graffiti on a piece of terrain. And with the painting of the Landspeeder, I want to give it its own story.
And so I came up with the idea that the landspeeder is the souped-up racing vehicle of a Duros racing pilot who was a bit of a legend in the Outer Rim racing scene until the Empire banned such races and cracked down on the now illegal races. The racing driver then joined the Rebellion with his vehicle – he now satisfies his Need for Speed in rebel daredevil hit and run actions and he is the man when it comes to using a fast vehicle with an appropriate driver. Also fits the basic idea behind all Rebel vehicles according to George Lucas: they’re all souped-up hotrods – from the Landspeeder to the X-wing.

I created the card templates and all graphic elements myself. The game icons are created using the Legion-font someone created, and for the text I used fonts which are very close to almost exact with the correct spacing and layout. I can share files and information, and maybe also provide a written how-to, if there’s interest, but give me some time to prepare everything.
