Explode & K.O Classic Cartoons In Looney Toons Mayhem
September 6, 2022 by fcostin
Are you in the mood for some old-school family violence? Looney Tunes are heading to the tabletop with CMON this month, for the release of Looney Tunes Mayhem. Originally part of the Cartoon Collection over on Kickstarter and now heading into retail.
Looney Tunes Mayhem // CMON
Engaging in cartoon combat, two to four players will be facing opponents across iconic settings in a battle for the K.O. Taking the roles of Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck and Taz you will be causing all types of chaos with unique special abilities and disruptive items to blow up the competition.
Looney Tunes Mayhem // CMON
Hoping to see opponents flat on their backs with stars and birds surrounding their pain, players will enlist terrible toons to work together in organised disarray. Hoping to prove the most hilariously brutal when snagging victory points, the Mayhem Die will deal out the damage until the winning player has five victory points under their comical belt.
Gameplay Preview // Looney Tunes Mayhem
There are four different character miniatures in the box, with cards to reference their abilities and items in play. All of these can be combined for true chaos. I am not sure how Daffy's mallet will hold up against Taz's tornado! As part of the Mayhem system - alongside Teen Titans Go - there is a standard mode of play, competitive and free-for-all.
Game Components // Looney Tunes Mayhem
Looney Tunes Mayhem is now available to pre-order, with a release coming this month. The game has been targeted for ages eight plus and can take roughly fifty minutes to play - depending on how many chaotic toons are being controlled on the table.
