Old Mac approached Flo and Jess. “So what do we know?”
“Well father…” replied Flo “Lord Fryer says that Deidre Crump, the housekeeper has disappeared. She was last seen going to the kitchen around 11pm last night according to Albert the Footman. The kitchen door is locked, the window shutters are closed and no one can get in although there is crashing and moaning coming from inside.” “Let’s go rescue the old crone!” Laughed Jess “She’s probably had a tipple too much!” “Hmmm…” “Less haste young lady. There’s a strange smell coming out from under the door? Arm up!”
